Meet Captain Ed Scola

30 Years on the Water. Every Trip Is Personal
I grew up fishing in New Jersey — the Hudson River, Barnegat Bay, and well offshore whenever I could get out there. Spent most of my younger years chasing whatever was running and figuring out the water the hard way.
I moved to South Carolina in 2011 and have been learning this fishery ever since. The nearshore reefs off Myrtle Beach. The structure further offshore. What the Gulf Stream runs look like in season. Over 30 years on the water total — the last several right here.
Before I started running charters, I worked in law enforcement and as a firefighter. I'm still a working paramedic. I mention that not to impress anyone, but because it shapes how I run a boat. Safety isn't an afterthought. Neither is paying attention to the people on board.
I started No Problem Sportfishing because I wanted to share what I know about fishing these waters with people who don't get to do it every day. Families on vacation, groups of friends, serious anglers who want a local with real knowledge — I can take all of you out there and put you on fish.
No Problem Sportfishing supports Mission 22, an organization working to end veteran suicide. Active Duty military, Veterans, and First Responders get 10% off every charter. Call or email to book with your discount.
Give me a call if you have questions. I'll tell you what's biting and which trip makes sense for your group.
